CGA's architecture endeavours to exceed expectations and optimise context and place within its surroundings and end user performance.  Design is not just about buildings but lifestyles.

While wearing the hat of  the "local" Architect we have been regularly servicing the northern and western Wellington suburbs for nearly 20 years. The Practice has grown with projects ranging from Auckland to Queenstown.

Wellington, Kapiti Coast, and the Wairarapa "house" the majority of our work.  We are also working regularly  in Auckland, with various projects from Grey Lynn villa renovations  to multi unit terrace/townhouse developments.

Our residential work ranges from kitchen and bathroom upgrades to large high end residential alterations, with new builds ranging from small infill   sites to large bespoke homes, catering for varying briefs and budgets. We are also currently involved in the development of some "small house" prototypes, where sustainability meets architecture and redefining house construction techniques .

Light commercial and multi unit developments and apartments are a rapid growing part of the Practice.

We offer the full range of architectural services from; feasibility studies, building measures and concept designs, through to resource and building consent (full working drawings), tender and contract documentation, site observation and contract certification. Computer  (Cad) 3D animation, artistic rendering, sun studies and terrain site modelling are also included where required.

Cosgrove Goodwin Architects is a Practice Member of the New Zealand Institute of Architects and uses NZIA documentation.

In all projects understanding "a sense of place"  in forming the appropriate contextual response is the key driver to our architecture.
